PrintNanette Lepore has been making a name for herself with her signature designs. Her playful and yet feminine work speaks for itself season after season. And this season is no exception. As if to echo her inclination to this dual femininity and playfulness, the runway itself was lit with rosy and blue hues with synthpop playing in the background.
Lepore made good use of bright and neutral colours to accentuate the airiness and warmness of this upcoming spring. Add to that an elegant silhouette and a casual look, you’ve got yourself a collection that is actually practical and versatile.
Don’t let this everyday potential fool you. Lepore’s highlighter tones and patterns work together to create a series of outfits that are unique, something that is rarely synonymous with the idea of practicality and versatility of fashion. Wear them on a night out with your girlfriends, on a date, on a vacation to somewhere warm and tropical, or even better, wear them on all of these occasions!
Lepore’s show this season offered a wonderful escape to one cozy spring day, something that we could all appreciate considering the reality of our cloudy weather during the past few days.
