First Look at Fashion Week

from the catwalk to college walk

PrintPrint

It's the final Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Bryant Park; starting next September, after the fall/winter 2010 collections are presented in February, the semiannual event will move uptown to Lincoln Center. It's no wonder that over 60 designers, many of whom are making their Bryant Park debuts, have chosen to show off their Spring/Summer 2010 collections at the iconic white tents, which have served as the heart of New York's Fashion Week since 1993. Still, Bryant Park hosts just a fraction of the fashion shows and presentations occurring all over the city. The Eye's writers and photographers are trekking all across town, from the New York Public Library to gallery rooftops, to give you a first look at the trends hitting New York's runways. Check back daily for the latest show reviews and runway-based style tips for everyday wear.
